THE OPERATING LAYER FOR MODERN FINANCE
Security & Control
Vernadel is built to automate real financial work without removing the controls that should stay with the business.
Limited access
We only want access to the systems and information required for the workflow we are operating. Permissions should stay as narrow as possible.
You set the boundaries
You decide what the system can do automatically, what requires approval, and what should always go to a person.
Uncertainty gets escalated
If something is unusual, unclear, or outside the rules you set, the system should stop and escalate instead of guessing.
Actions stay visible
Workflows should keep a clear record of what happened, when it happened, and where human approval was involved.
Your data stays specific to your business
Your data can be used inside your own system to improve how it understands your workflows and makes decisions over time. It is not used to train the underlying AI models.
Other agents stay permissioned
If your business uses other internal agents or systems, they can request approved financial context or actions without getting unrestricted access to everything underneath.
Test before expanding
New workflows should start with limited responsibility. We can test with historical data, approval-only modes, or narrow live scopes before expanding what the system is allowed to do.
Human judgment still matters
Some financial decisions should stay with a controller, CFO, accountant, CPA, or business owner. The goal is to automate repeatable work, not remove judgment where it matters.
We’re pre-launch. As Vernadel develops, we’ll update this page to reflect the controls and security practices actually in place.
